History

Stockport Bramhall Hockey Club was formed in 2011 following the merger of Stockport Hockey Club and Bramhall Hockey Club. The aim of the merger was to create a club for all in Stockport and improve the development of junior hockey in the area. The merger means that the Club now runs multiple Men's and Ladies teams for all abilities and has a thriving Junior Section.

Ladies Club History

Stockport Hockey Club was formed in 2007 following the merger of the Stockport & District Women’s Hockey League Teams: Forest, Reddish, Edgeley, Stockport and Hadfield Ladies hockey clubs.

The League had been established for over 85 years and although focused on grass roots hockey, nurtured players who went onto play for their County and even Country!

Men’s Club History

Bramhall Hockey Club was established in 1902 in the Cheshire village of Bramhall near Stockport, Greater Manchester and is one of the oldest clubs in the North West. The Club celebrated its centenary year in the 2002/3 season. The Club has a long history of developing players and has had several players represent their Countries or Regions. The Men's Section play in the North West League.
