Junior Hockey

Stockport Bramhall Hockey Club (SBHC) has a thriving Junior Section offering twice weekly coaching sessions at our pitch which is located to the rear of Bramhall High School, Seal Road, Bramhall, SK7 2JT. Please see our training page for further details.

The Club provides opportunities for young people between the ages of 6 and 17 to learn to play hockey with a view to them moving through the ranks to play in one of our many men's and ladies senior teams. We also look to provide opportunities for all our young players to play for their respective county at a variety of age levels.

We only used qualified coaches who have been assessed by the English Hockey Board (EHB) and DBS checked. We have an excellent training programme designed to create fun and enjoyable sessions, whilst providing the core concepts of hockey, teaching all our junior players the technical and mental side of the game. Coaching is suitable for all skill levels, from beginners to more advanced players.

Players are arranged into groups according to age and ability; this allows our coaches to provide more effective focused player development sessions, aimed at teaching the skills and techniques of hockey.

If you are interested in joining the Club, please visit the join us page and submit the form and someone from the Junior Section of the Club will be in touch, or you can contact the Junior Coordinator leahperkins93@yahoo.com

Alternatively, please feel free to come down to one of our coaching sessions and make yourself known to the coach.
